VPX Redline is by far the best ephedra free fatburner I have tried.

I am a 19 year old amateur powerlifter who is constantly fluctuating from the 220 to 198lb weight class. Back in November I used Lipo 6 with ephedra to drop from 215 to 198 and now for my contest coming up this August I am relying on VPX redline RTD’s.

I drink one before my workouts 6 days a week as well as wear a wool hat while I work out and it has an amazing thermogenic effect. I recomend it to anyone who would like a serious energy kick while training but I would not propose that every overweight person who does only 20 minutes of cardio, breaks a sweat, then leaves the gym to use it because it is pretty serious stuff.

I also recomend that if you are not entirely devloped (ie. under 18 years old) you do not use this product because it, like any supplement, puts un-needed stress on your heart and if you’re young you don’t need it.

But 5 out of 5 stars. Hardcore stuff.

Hey, I just tried this stuff for the first time. I used to take ephedra containing products so I thought this would be something I would enjoy. However, towards the end of my workout I felt nauseated, & started blacking out.

I won’t be taking this again!!! Sorry to sound so negative, but I won’t try this again. I’ll wait until my Speedstack gets it’s ephedra back!:)

I recently purchased the liquid form of redline at a local 7 Eleven store.

It was the first time I have ever drank an energy drink that had such an affect. With in a few minutes , I started to sweat and shake. Being familiar with the effects of narcotics, I must say the feeling felt a lot like cocaine feels.

The most disturbing trait is that my penis shriveled up like I just got out of the icy cold ocean. I can’t help but think that this product will be taken off the market. The effects are too strong for some minors and may not be safe for people on certain medication which are yet to be known.

I tried Redline today while heading to work. I am a huge fan of RedBull & Diet Rockstar. I am 33 years old & in excellent condition.

Having not read the warning label I drank the whole bottle within 5 minutes. Within 10 minutes I was blacking out behind the wheel & shaking uncontrollably. I pulled over at a gas station — I was having difficulty in swallowing and could not stand, breathe or see straight.

I could not even walk for the convulsions. A bystander called the paramedics. Needless to say – my blood pressure was sky high & I thought I was on my way out.

I feel this drink is extremely dangerous & should not be on the market. There needs to be a very visible warning label not to drink the whole bottle for beginners. It has been 5 hours now & I still do not feel normal.

This drink could seriously kill someone if not informed. I am sorry but I will never drink this again nor recommend it to fellow peers.

I just tried the VPX Redline capsules for the first time today. I was very hesitant to even try it after I bought it.

The sales associate at GNC gave me a great deal of information and warned me of the profuse shaking and sweating that would probably occur.

He recommended that I start off by taking one capsule a day because of the effects that it could have on the body. He told me that would be the best way to have your body adjust to it before taking any large amounts.

I must admit that after 20 minutes of taking the one capsule, I started to feel faint, nauseated, and I began to sweat. Within 2 or 3 minutes I was fine but I continued to sweat for about a half an hour.

I feel that so far I can’t give a great deal of feedback, but I know that it will probably be something that I will stick with. I believe that when someone starts taking a new “weight loss” product not regulated by the FDA, they should inform themselves about it because of the risks involved. I know that if I wouldn’t have asked any questions or did any research before I took this product I too would probably have a negative reaction as well as feedback for this product.

I tried Redline RTD yesterday before a workout with my trainer. LET ME TELL YOU, I was so sick I wondered what was wrong with me, I was shaking really bad, I wanted to throw up and my stomach hurt, sweating, also my trainer noticed my pupils were huge.

Needless to say I will NEVER touch the stuff again. Your article is right on, I also am caffiene sensative so this gave me an extra pounding. I am glad I feel normal today, if all this agony is for fat burning, I will have to have my bodyfat taken, bet it’s WAY low ha!

I work at a gym which sells VMX Redline and decided to try one myself after a member had mentioned that “it was a lot stronger than Red Bull.” While I’m not interested in losing weight, I am drawn to any sort of high potency energy drink and, to this end and on average, down between 4-6 espressos a day.

The morning that I tried Redline for the first time, I drank only a half can (per the recommendations on the can even though I disregarded the advice to avoid drinking it on an empty stomach). After 10 minutes, noticing no obvious lift, I downed the rest of the can. There didn’t seem to be any significant energy level change, so I decided to prepare my customary morning double espresso.

Lucky that I waited, however, because approximately 40 minutes after finishing off the can, I felt an energy surge that I had never experienced with any other drink. Furthermore, for the rest of the day, I felt energized enough to abstain from any more caffeine. I fell in love with this stuff.

Even so, I began to question whether this product might not be too good to be true. After finding your article on the web, I finally got some of the answers I was looking for. However, I’m still curious about a few thing such as what explains the delayed reaction as compared to something like espresso or the other brand name energy drinks? Also, what health risks might this poise to someone who drank it only a daily basis?

William (guillem3ATsbcglobal.net)

Myself and a co-worker drink 1/2 of the ready to drink version of Redline about 2 hours prior to our workout. Drinking one full can is for the brave at heart as it will leave you turning cart wheels in the office.

We both have found that the product is great for energy and getting you through an intense workout, but I don’t know that either of us have seen anymore loss in fat or weight than we would have just by our workouts alone.

Also, as a side note, the reason we both take this 2 hours before a workout is that for some reason it will send you straight to the bathroom within an hour of drinking it, maybe all that caffeine is stimulating more than your energy level 🙂

Lynn (libragirlscATyahoo.com)

It’s extremely hard for me to find diet pills that kill my appetite and give me enormous amounts of energy at the same time so when the clerk at GNC suggested Redlines liquid gels saying they were almost as powerful as the ephedra I miss so much I jumped at trying them.

I have to say I’m fairly pleased with the results but concerned that anyone who hasn’t used ephedra based products might not be able to handle this pill. They’re extremely powerful. Within 10 minutes of taking them you can feel your heart start to race and your body start to shake. I wouldn’t suggest them to anyone who has an extremely active life style.

Brandi (rosetat_1999 AT hotmail.com)

I took REDLINE 2 times before working-out. Every time I got shivering, cold sweats, dizzy, stomach cramps and my heart beat increased. But my performance during my routine was increased and I knocked 2 minutes off of a 2 mile run.

I would only take it again if I needed a boost in performance.

John (airraid AT hotmail.com)

I tried redline for the first time today, and I love it! It gives me a great deal of energy and definitely is a great fat burner.

It felt like a cocaine high but not as disgusting and harmful. I really hope they do not take this product of the market.

Kristen (kristensafgt AT aim.com)

Me and my friend each drank one redline before the night so we wouldnt fall asleep. I’m 160lbs and my friend is 140. I was fine through the night it kept my up but my friend wasn’t.

After 3 hours of drinking it he started to act wierd. He couldn’t stop shaking. He could barely speak and when he did he stuttered. after that he had trouble breathing and couldn’t walk.

His hands cramped up and wouldn’t move. this lasted about 2 hours until while he was going in and out of consciousness. It was the worst experience ever and I do not recommend it.

Vincent Sharp (n0_fat_chicks987 AT msn.com)

I am a 19 year old fit female. I have only used redline once. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I started shivering non stop and my heart was beating extremely fast. I felt sick like I was going to throw up and my stomach had a pain that felt like someone hit me in the stomach. I drank a whole can however and noticed the serving size was 2….

If your looking for energy, this stuff packs a hard punch but has some hardcore side effects,as far as the losing weight aspect, I have not seen a decrease in weight.

Another thing.. I heard of kids who buy this stuff. People need to be informed that they need to card kids under 18…this stuff is possibly dangerous.

Melissa (melkwhite AT cox.net)

I have spent some time reading over people’s comments about this product. I feel bad that people have had bad experiences with Redline but I dont think that they are using it appropriately. For all the people getting sick after taking it, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

And for people who think they can hang drinking this compared to RedBull… I laugh at you. Is it intense? Absolutely. Is it a health risk? Not if used properly. I have been using it for three months now and I absolutely love it.

Amy (amy_ka1007 AT yahoo.com)

Redline is not for everybody. Specially for many of the people who posted a review who are used to driking red-bull or any other product like that. This is a serious energy drink, that you should drink before a serious workout, then you can see the results. It clearly says in the back of the bottle, that people under eighteen years old shouldn’t take the drink.

Jorge (snkjorge AT yahoo.com)

I am 56 years old and I am recovering from a large back surgery just three weeks ago. I was at the liquor store to stock up on my favorite drink, Rockstar sugar free. I can drink Rockstars and feel relatively no effect from them other than I like the taste. Prior to drinking a Rockstar a day I was hooked on diet drinks and would down two litre bottles per day. This stuff has at least taken me off the diet coke, diet pepsi urge.

While purchasing the Rockstars a guy in the store was buying a Redline for his wife. He told me that I might want to try Redline as is is a far superiour drink compared to Rockstar. And at least he warned me to drink half the bottle first. So I drank half and did not feel anything.

About 20 minutes later I downed the rest of the bottle. It took a couple of hours for the effects to fully set in. I found myself sitting on the toilet. The shower door is a huge mirror where I could see my body. I watched sweat pour out of me like I have never seen before. I sweated so much that my jeans were wet and I had to change T shirts to help stay somewhat dry.

My heart rate jumped up and my daughter told me to lay on my left side to bring the heart rate down a bit. I was so ill from this stuff that for a good while I really could not move – I just layed on my side using some folded towels that I found for a pillow. It just got worse and worse. I made one run to the bathroom to vomit but by the time I got there I was able to hold it back by swallowing my own saliva (seems to help calm my stomach).

Since my back is still healing I didn’t want to go through the convulsions that come when I throw up. So I layed in bed drinking small sips of water through the night hoping to gradually flush this stuff out of my system. When my wife came home, and after 8 hours since I drank this stuff, she noticed that my jugular vein on the right side of my neck was jumping uncontrollably. It looked like it was going wild. It is now 72 hours later and I am just now begining to feel normal again. This stuff really put a lock on my body and became a frightening experience.

I recomend taking this a tablespoon at a time mixed with juice – and wait a couple of hours to feel the effect, or to make sure you are feeling the effect. For some of us a tablespoon might be the best way to start out if you are bent on taking this stuff and want to see what it is all about. I am sure I would have felt even a tablespoon of this stuff.

I would also recomend reading all the blogs on the internet to gain an appreciation of what this can do. I am also on meds from my back surgery – no doubt I also had some sort of interference with the meds that I am on with Redline. So don’t mess with this stuff if you are taking other medications (as per the warning on the lable).

It is best to be careful than to be stupid like I was!

This product is fabulous!

I’ve been taking 2 capsules when I wake in the morning and 1 or 2 before lunch since Saturday and I’ve lost 3.5 lbs (and this is Thursday).

I was on Alli off and on for the past few months and didn’t lose (or gain). I did 15 minutes on the treadmill Saturday, and then ran 5 miles. I’ve had more energy to work out than ever before and my cravings for salty and sugary foods have subsided.

I actually crave fruits and veggies. (i am a meat & potatoes girl from the midwest). I take insulin for type-1 diabetes and have had to contact my Dr. about lowing my dosage already. My goal is to lose 15-20 lbs of fat and build muscle, and I am well on my way in only 6 days.

Kaycee (kwood1960 AT msn.com)

I have been working out on (seriously) and off a bit for almost 5 years. I hav taken a lot of different “thermo” pills and “supplements”. I have been taking REDINE for a few weeks now along with some Amino pills and Muscle Milk protein powder.

Switching it up between running intervals and lifting I have noticed more results in these two weeks than Hydroxy and Zena combined. I really recommend it for the serious lifter.

I tried my first can yesterday downed the whole thing in one big gulp then read and said I should not take it on a empty stomach, I had not eaten in 5 hours, 30 mins and later still had no big effect, drove home from the mall fine and had some dinner never noticed the shacking, the sweating etc. I was less tired though. I am only 200 lbs so not sure why I was not effected like the rest.

I use Redline pretty much on a daily basis to sustain a higher level of energy needed for my job.I love redline and would recommend it to anyone in need of an energy boost, with one precaution use in MODERATION.

Redline can cause the shakes, nausea, migraines, and a serious crash. Also, to prevent the negative side effects of this product, drink a whole can over about an hour time span. For new users drink about half a can and see what that does for you. NEVER quickly down a bottle of redline, cause trust me, you will regret it.

Also drink plenty of water with the drink, it will help prevent the shakes. Be prepared to sweat, cause this drink will make your body temp rise. Not for people with low tolerance to caffiene, or for those under 18.

Kat (psi-ko_lette AT hotmail.com)

So I’m sitting here reading these reviews and find myself wondering if people have any ability to read directions — I found that if I either sipped on redline through out the day or drank 1/2 in a short period of time I could do anything quicker, better and happier — ideally I feel if I drank it all abruptly like others have im sure I would have gotten sick as well but thats why they have directions — FOCUS PEOPLE FOCUS!!

Tiana (tragicbydesign AT yahoo.com)

OOOOH WEEEE!!!!

I took a little more then half (this was after realizing the warning label) before a evening run. WOW! I feel like I have had 5 cups of coffee. Did not experience the nausea or black outs as mentioned by the other people.

Good energy booster.

Jay (jay.paquette AT gmail.com)

I’ve been drinking small can of Redline each morning during 1st part of my gym workout. I have really come to love it! Maybe it’s all in my head, but I swear it wakes me up (I go to gym around 4:30-5 a.m. every morning) and keeps me going a little better than ever without it.

I recently bought the pills and I have to say, I really like them, too! I have taken probably a majority of the fat burners, etc. out on the market. I am an intelligent person but sometimes fall for claims that are unsubstantiated. I take 2 pills about 1/2 way through my work day, and then forget I’ve even taken them. Within an hour, I feel better (seriously!)…better mood, not hungry, not too hot or cold…just really good…seriously!!

I recommend them…BUT don’t take for days and days at a time…tolerance buildup. Take for a few days and then lay off a few days. I am a true “gym rat” and through shear hard work and sound nutrition, I lost over 100 pounds. NOT with diet pills…this Redline is just what I need, though…just because it DOES make me feel good…!!

Thanks!

Cherie (cheriej521 AT yahoo.com)

P.S. I also take 5-HTP, 200-400mg/daily for a few days and then stop for a few days…it affects MY moods… and I am a manic/depressive…it has honestly helped me!

Let me start by saying that I used to be a big energy drink user (mostly FullThrottle and No Fear) until I found out about all the HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) in them.

I set out to find a zero calorie or non HFCS drink that I could stomach the taste for and would still give me a kick in the butt. For quite awhile Red Bull was the only thing I drank when I needed a boost as it contains sucralose (a sugar substitute).

Then a friend told me that I should try Redline and that it would give me what I was looking for. Boy was he right. Me and my workout partner call it “crack in a bottle”. There is no way I could ever take this stuff in a normal work day.

However, I have started drinking it as a pre-workout energy drink and I love the results. I have not felt the nausea that a lot of people have, and it has not supressed my appetite at all. I have yet to take this and the creatine supplements I normally take at the same time.

The creatine I take also give me some energy but nothing like Redline. I have heard tons of horror stories about people who have used this product but have yet to have any problems myself. I am already drinking the whole drink at once after drinking only half at a time for about 2 weeks. I have seen about a 7 pound decrease in weight in one month and have increased my muscle mass because of my more intense workouts.

  1. It is a great product but you have to follow the directions and use caution. It gives a great energy boost. If I’m just trying to get things done such as deep clean the house, work in the yard or even run errands for an extended amount of time this is great. I generally only take 2oz over a 6 hour period in 3 hour increments. I do NOT down half the bottle. For an intense workout I MIGHT drink 1/4 of the bottle. Might. This is a force to be reckoned with. I would like to add that I have a caffeine sensitivity and rarely consume coffee, soda or energy drinks, if ever, and the amount I drink does not effect me in any negative way. No shakes, no jitters, just a slight energy boost. I’d definitely recommend it.
