I was (somewhat) sympathetic, but doubted the CSPI would win.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/blogs\/health\/2012\/04\/06\/mcdonalds-can-keep-happy-meal-toys-court-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lo and behold&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Good news for California kids who like to play with their food. A class-action lawsuit seeking to ban toys in Happy Meals in most parts of California was thrown out on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was filed in 2010 by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer advocacy group, and Monet Parham, listed in the suit as a California mother.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer did not give a reason for his decision to throw out the suit.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The judge&#8217;s decision does not affect existing regulations on Happy Meal toys in San Francisco and Santa Clara counties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Remember this?
