Sibutramine is\u00a0&#8211; or\u00a0rather, was &#8211; a\u00a0prescription weight loss drug (it was withdrawn from the market last year).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fda.gov\/Drugs\/ResourcesForYou\/Consumers\/BuyingUsingMedicineSafely\/MedicationHealthFraud\/ucm234592.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The supps in question are:<\/a> \u201cSlender Slim 11,\u201d \u201cAdvanced Slim 5,\u201d \u201cA-Slim 100% Natural Slimming Capsule,\u201d \u201cDream Body Slimming Capsule,\u201d \u201cJa Dera 100% Natural Weight Loss Supplement,\u201d \u201cLeisure 18 Slimming Coffee,\u201d \u201cLishou,\u201d \u201cMagic Slim Tea,\u201d \u201cMagic Slim Weight Reduction Capsule,\u201d \u201cP57 Hoodia,\u201d \u201cPhentraBurn Slimming Capsules,\u201d \u201cSheng Yuan Fang,\u201d \u201cTengda,\u201d \u201cAcai Berry Soft Gel ABC,\u201d \u201cBotanical Slimming,\u201d \u201cDaiDaiHuaJiaoNang,\u201d \u201cFruit Plant Lossing Fat Capsule,\u201d \u201cHealth Slimming Coffee,\u201d \u201cLose Weight Coffee,\u201d and \u201cPai You Guo Slim Tea.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fda.gov\/Drugs\/ResourcesForYou\/Consumers\/BuyingUsingMedicineSafely\/MedicationHealthFraud\/ucm276098.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to the FDA:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sibutramine is a controlled substance that was removed from the U.S. market in October 2010 for safety reasons. The product poses a threat to consumers because sibutramine is known to substantially increase blood pressure and\/or pulse rate in some patients and may present a significant risk for patients with a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, or stroke. This product may also interact in life threatening ways with other medications a consumer may be taking.<\/p>\n<p>Consumers should stop using this product immediately and throw it away.
