{"id":5325,"date":"2011-09-13T05:50:05","date_gmt":"2011-09-13T03:50:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.ultimatefatburner.com\/?p=5325"},"modified":"2015-02-19T19:13:27","modified_gmt":"2015-02-20T00:13:27","slug":"bit-helps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/ufb-blog\/bit-helps\/","title":{"rendered":"Every Little Bit Helps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; even when it comes to exercise &#8211; if the results of <a href=\"http:\/\/secure.jbs.elsevierhealth.com\/action\/cookieAbsent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this recent study<\/a> are to be believed. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/lifeandstyle\/2011\/aug\/16\/fifteen-minutes-exercise-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to Maev Kennedy of The Guardian&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A cheering piece of research suggests that just 15 minutes of exercise a day \u2013 half the recommended amount in the UK \u2013 can boost life expectancy.<\/p>\n<p>A study in Taiwan, <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/secure.jbs.elsevierhealth.com\/action\/cookieAbsent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported in The Lancet<\/a>, tracked more than 400,000 men and women over 12 years, and showed significant benefits from 15 minutes a day or 90 minutes a week of moderate exercise such as brisk walking.
