{"id":271,"date":"2008-10-04T19:21:30","date_gmt":"2008-10-04T17:21:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.ultimatefatburner.com\/wordpress\/?p=271"},"modified":"2015-02-12T21:09:02","modified_gmt":"2015-02-13T02:09:02","slug":"sneaky-rotten-underhanded-dirty-tricks-vol-ii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/ufb-blog\/sneaky-rotten-underhanded-dirty-tricks-vol-ii\/","title":{"rendered":"Sneaky, Rotten, Underhanded, Dirty Tricks Vol II."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A little while ago, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/ufb-blog\/sneaky-rotten-underhanded-dirty-tricks-vol-i\/\" target=\"_self\">I started a series<\/a> on some of the dirty rotten tricks I&#8217;ve seen perpetrated by retailers on a largely unsuspecting and vulnerable audience (if things continue to proceed in the same manner, I suspect this will be a long, and on-going series).<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, one other MAJOR pet peeve of mine is retailers who name their products as close as legally possible to\u00a0any number of\u00a0major prescription weight loss drugs, and advertise them as being available &#8220;without a prescription.&#8221; \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of course\u00a0they are available without prescriptions; they are NOT prescription products.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is that\u00a0some consumers are going to mistake the\u00a0often-useless herbal preparations for the similarly-named drug. For example, we&#8217;re all\u00a0aware of the weight loss drug phentermine. Some of the\u00a0&#8220;all natural&#8221; non prescription weight loss products\u00a0looking to\u00a0capitalize\u00a0on this product&#8217;s\u00a0familiarity\u00a0are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/phenterfein-review.html\" target=\"_self\">Phenterfein<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/phentremine-civ-xr-review.html\" target=\"_self\">Phentremine<\/a>.
