Kilimanjaro&#8230; the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alphamalechallenge.com\/articles.php?lfp=training&amp;aID=11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Level A Kilimanjaro Walking Climb<\/a>&#8221; from the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Alpha-Male-Challenge-10-Week-Attitude\/dp\/1594869316\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1249937605&amp;sr=1-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alpha Male Challenge<\/a>.&#8221;\u00a0 John and I are officially starting the program tomorrow, although we tried this cardio workout yesterday, just for the hell of it.\u00a0\u00a0We were curious to get a taste of what we were in for.<\/p>\n<p>I made it all the way&#8230; John did too, although he had to hang on to the treadmill to get through the highest elevations (12% and 15% respectively).<\/p>\n<p>But while I did it fair and square, I didn&#8217;t enjoy it &#8211; which means I&#8217;ve got some work to do!\u00a0 But that&#8217;s the point of\u00a0going through\u00a0programs like this &#8211; it&#8217;s rather different than the\u00a0workouts I&#8217;ve been doing, and I expect it&#8217;s going to make me confront weaknesses I didn&#8217;t know I had (I shudder at how humbling those 20 rep squat sets are\u00a0likely to be).\u00a0 But I already made a commitment to the program &#8211; not just in my heart or on paper, but to Rick &#8211; one of the co-authors &#8211;\u00a0so I&#8217;m officially <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">scr<\/span>&#8230; stuck.<\/p>\n<p>I think it&#8217;s gonna be a long 10 weeks&#8230; but let the games begin!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, not the REAL Mt.
