And &#8211; when it comes to diet\/exercise programs for losing weight and getting in shape &#8211; it&#8217;s sooooo true.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most self-defeating behaviors I&#8217;ve ever encountered during my time on the &#8220;Bodybuilding Revealed&#8221; and &#8220;Fat Loss Revealed&#8221; forums, is what I call &#8220;The Quest For The Best&#8221;. Simply put, most people who are on &#8220;The Quest&#8221; never stick with one nutrition or workout program for more than a few short weeks, because some other, &#8220;better&#8221; program catches their eye(s). &#8220;Good enough&#8221; is never good enough for these folks&#8230; they want the absolute BEST\u00a0return possible for their investment of time\/energy\/money.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The irony is that &#8220;The Quest&#8221; typically sends a whole lot of time\/energy\/money swirling down the drain, with virtually NO results to show for it. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/ufb-blog\/fitness-isnt-an-overnight-sensation\/\" target=\"_blank\">As I noted in an earlier post<\/a>, it can take\u00a0some time to make significant\u00a0body composition changes; so it goes without saying (but I&#8217;ll say it anyway)\u00a0that flitting\u00a0like a butterfly from program-to-program\u00a0isn&#8217;t the best way to\u00a0to about it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If it&#8217;s a good, time-and-battle-tested program from a reputable source, it will work &#8211; or can be made to work with a bit of tweaking.\u00a0\u00a0But it needs to be given a chance!\u00a0\u00a0Putting one&#8217;s nose to the grindstone and being patient\u00a0aren&#8217;t as exciting as starting something new, but in the end,\u00a0that&#8217;s what it takes to get results\u00a0AND make them stick.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sure you know the saying.
