{"id":175,"date":"2008-06-17T22:45:03","date_gmt":"2008-06-17T20:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.ultimatefatburner.com\/wordpress\/a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words\/"},"modified":"2015-02-12T21:06:07","modified_gmt":"2015-02-13T02:06:07","slug":"a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/ufb-blog\/a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words\/","title":{"rendered":"A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The LA Times has a nice little photo montage, illustrating <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/health\/la-he.0609.calories-pg-photogallery.html\" rel=\"noopener\">the &#8220;thin&#8221; line between eating a 1600 calorie weight loss diet vs. a fat-inducing 3000 calorie one<\/a>.\u00a0 Now, in my view, the line really isn&#8217;t that thin&#8230;the difference between the meals is pretty obvious.\u00a0 The 1600 calorie day meals are all low fat and high in fiber: veggies or fruits are featured in each meal.\u00a0 What I find interesting about the 3000 calorie day, is that &#8211; from a sheer &#8220;bulk food&#8221; perspective, the amount of food really isn&#8217;t\u00a0that large\u00a0&#8211; it&#8217;s just that the foods are indifferently chosen and contain a lot of &#8220;hidden&#8221; calories from fat and sugar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->This is what the 3000 calorie day looks like:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Glazed doughnut + coffee w\/half-and-half<\/p>\n<p>Chicken Caesar Salad w\/dressing from Chili&#8217;s<br \/>\n12 oz. Coke<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 oz.
