Casu Frazigu), for example, in Dr. Massimo Francesco Marcone&#8217;s book, &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Bad-Taste-Science-Adventures-Delicacies\/dp\/1552638820\/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1210477545&amp;sr=8-1\" rel=\"noopener\">In Bad Taste?<\/a>&#8221;\u00a0 As he writes:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Torre\u00a0unwrapped two separate containers, revealing two cheese wheels for me to test.\u00a0 Fascinating!\u00a0 The clicking sounds of thousands of maggots hitting the sides of the containers had been audible from a distance of 6 metres.\u00a0 And the strong odour emanating from the cheese was distinct from several rooms away.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yum.\u00a0 (NOT!!!)<\/p>\n<p>I also have an acquaintance who&#8217;s a former Navy SEAL, who does business in the Phillipines.\u00a0 He&#8217;s actually eaten a balut, although he said he was pretty drunk at the time, and did it on a dare.<\/p>\n<p>At any rate, this may be something you want to bookmark, for the next time you get food cravings.\u00a0 Reading it made me laugh&#8230;and completely ruined my appetite.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was funny: http:\/\/www.cracked.com\/article_14979_6-most-terrifying-foods-in-world.html\u00a0 (head&#8217;s up: the language is a little rough&#8230;).
