{"id":1239,"date":"2009-03-17T19:19:14","date_gmt":"2009-03-17T17:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.ultimatefatburner.com\/?p=1239"},"modified":"2015-02-18T17:54:38","modified_gmt":"2015-02-18T22:54:38","slug":"supersize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ultimatefatburner.com\/ufb-blog\/supersize\/","title":{"rendered":"SuperSize Him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently, Australian personal trainer Paul James has hit a major benchmark on the way to\u00a0fulfilling his New Year&#8217;s Resolution&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20090313035314\/http:\/\/www.news.com.au:80\/story\/0,27574,25170255-36398,00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">He&#8217;s officially obese.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A PERSONAL trainer who started eating chips and burgers to better understand his gym clients is now officially obese &#8211; and hating it.<\/p>\n<p>Paul &#8220;PJ&#8221; James, a former underwear model, has gone from strutting catwalks at 80kg to 110kg in three months.<\/p>\n<p>He is ploughing through the junk food &#8211; up to 30 slices of pizza in one binge sitting &#8211; and the money.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s just very expensive to be unhealthy,&#8221; he told the Herald Sun.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I used to spend about $80 on food a week. I could easily spend $300 now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>James has stopped exercising in a bid to max-out at 120kg.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When he reaches his goal, he&#8217;s planning to maintain his weight for 3 months before losing it with his clients at his gym in Brunswick.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I think it&#8217;s a stupid stunt.\u00a0 Adding weight rapidly doesn&#8217;t put you in quite the same place (physiologically-speaking)\u00a0as doing it slowly over the years &#8211; as many overweight people do.
