Chad Tackett's Global Fitness Review

Chad Tackett's Global Fitness Review: A Look At the Net's Most Popular Health, Fitness and Weight Loss Membership Site

charge

Global Fitness is the largest and most popular health and fitness membership site on the Net, and the brainchild of Chad Tackett. Chad is a certified professional Personal Trainer and Weight Management Specialist with BS degrees in Exercise and Health Science and Nutrition from Oregon State University (Corvallis, OR).

Global Fitness continues to grow and flourish, thanks to Chad and his professional staff's dedication to a high quality, unique product. I've been receiving inquiries into the quality of the Global Fitness service, so today I tend to take you behind the scenes at the Net's number one membership site and show you what to expect...

Just to clarify things before I continue... a membership site is a site where you need to pay a fee to access its contents. While this may not immediately appear like such a great deal when there are plenty of material available for free online, there are plenty of reasons why Global Fitness has been so widely accepted, and why a paid membership may make good sense for you.

However, I'll address the positives of a membership a little later. For now, let's take a look inside Global Fitness...

Phew! Where to start? In fact, as I began doing this review of the Global Fitness service it soon became very apparent that it would be a very difficult task to illustrate the both breadth and sheer of volume of diverse, quality material. So bear with me...

There are several main sections to Global Fitness. The first is called "5 Components of Optimal Health", and is broken down into...

i) Strength Training: this section includes a online book, dozens of personalized workouts for all levels of fitness -- from general fitness to bodybuilder -- customized strength training programs, the GF (Global Fitness) "muscle map" (includes detailed explanation of each muscle group plus a listing of the most appropriate exercises for each group), plus a whole series of exercises -- each with video and text instruction. Personal consulting with any of GF's 30 certified professionals is also included.

ii) Weight Management:this section includes a online book, nearly 200 healthy recipes, the GF personalized customized diet plan (an additional charge is required for the personalized diet plan) and personal consulting with any of GF's 30 certified professionals.

iii) Cardio exercise: features an online book, and instructions with video demonstrations for the best cardio exercises, plus consultations with GF's professionals.

iv) Nutrition: features an online book on nutrition, which discusses the role the micro and macro nutrients, and the importance of a proper balance to attaining fitness. Personal consulting with any of GF's 30 certified professionals is also included.

v) Flexibility training: features an online book on, GF's muscle map (which provides a detailed explanation of each muscle group and the provides the best flexibility building exercises for that group), plus detailed instructions and full video demonstration. And of course, personal consulting with any of GF's 30 certified professionals is also included.

There's literally a ton of material in these 5 sections -- much more than I can do justice to here. Hundreds of recipes, workouts, exercises, videos, online books, free tracking software for members (ProTrack), fitness tools, tons of articles, a vibrant and active forum for registered members (moderated by Chad himself, there are 100's of registered users on this forum), motivation tips and inspirational writings, and a 7-week Success System (a GF exclusive).

While this material is all good and defintely worth the very modest membership fee GF charges, it is the 30 professional experts on staff that really tips the scales, in my opinion. Global Fitness has experts for everything -- from weight loss and weight management, to motivation and bodybuilding (for both men and women), from stress reduction and sports medicine, to marathon training and cardio experts. They've even got a naturapathic medicine expert and a maternity fitness expert on staff, believe it or not. Having complete access to knowledgeable professionals like this is absolutely invaluable, and what really separates Global Fitness from their competitors.

So the first question becomes...

Should you pay for a membership?

The answer to that really depends on you. If you are serious about your goals -- whether they be weight loss or weight management, or fitness training of any sort -- and you plan to make use of all Global Fitness has to offer, including access to all the professionals I discussed just earlier, a membership makes good sense. It's a cheap and effective means to hasten the achievement of your goals, whatever they may be.

If you are not sure whether you need or will use any but the tiniest percentage of the material presented on the site, try Global Fitness $4.95 30-day trial. This will give you a very good idea of what you can expect from the service without requiring much of an up front investment.

Why pay for a membership when there is so much free material available online? Two reasons...

1) Credibility: Global Fitness is a well respected and highly regarded service. Its professional are of the highest caliber and are properly accredited. While you may be able to find some related materials online, it's often difficult to determine whether that material comes from a credible source. With Global Fitness, that's never a concern.

2) Time: For most of us, time is money. It's comforting therefore, to know that all your fitness and health related questions and concerns can be addressed at one Web site. Alternatively, you'd have to search through a pile of Web sites to find a credible source of the information you seek. In the end, its just more efficient to have a Global Fitness membership.

If you're at all interested, investigate the $4.95 trial option -- it's a cheap way to evaluate the quality (not to mention the diversity) of the service. I'd be surprised if you weren't impressed... I certainly was!
