Nastiness... What It REALLY Means!
UltimateFatBurner.com's dedication to presenting your favorite fat burners in their true light may have made us popular with you, but it sure hasn't endeared us to a lot of supplement retailers.
For example, shortly after I published my review on Orovo, I received a ton of nasty "hate mail" (all sent from people without the strength of conviction to include a valid e-mail). That's not a big deal... I've been receiving this stuff for years, and I just hit the "delete" button a few more times than usual.
Then an anonymous visitor sent me a forum post, in which I was called a "balding, puffied-bodied scam artist", and accused me of posting a negative review of Orovo because they (the retailer) had "refused to cave in to my demands for cash for a positive review."
This sort of crap is a little more annoying -- even if it is flattering that they feel I'm important enough to post slanderous comments about me (I posted a response to this ridiculous commentary -- you can read it here!)
And that's just one example. Just lately I've been under attack a fair bit for my stance on several fat burners marketed online.
Most of the time, it's pretty funny.
The retailers and their obvious associates sound pretty desperate in their efforts to discredit me. And they seem to think you, the consumer, are completely unable to distinguish fact from ridiculous fiction. They really don't give you much credit.
Interestingly enough, these guys are happy to attack me personally, and call the "logic" of my reviews into question, but no one, absolutely no one, has come forward to offer any real proof that the product in question actually does anything.
So what does that tell you?
Just as there are plenty of ethical companies looking to provide you with quality products and solutions, there are just as many who are looking to pack their bank accounts with cash and skip town before the authorities come looking for them.
The nastiness with which many of these people try to discredit me gives some real insight into what sort of people they are, what their ethics are, and very likely, what their commitment to their customers is.
Calling someone the equivalent of a "fat idiot" is not an argument. It's what you do when you're desperate, your product claims are ridiculous and have no basis in fact, and you don't care about the perception people have of your company because you're only interested in making as much money as possible before the FTC shuts you down.
As a consumer, remember that it is rare for you to encounter someone who does not have their own agenda. And when you encounter nastiness -- directed against anyone -- remember that it is never a sign of a professional, credible, dedicated company with customer-focused employees.
Instead, consider it a 'window" to the true motives of that company.
I rest my case.
