Why You *MUST* Cheat On Your Diet!

For many, starting a new diet is like embarking on a long,
unpleasant, and often unrewarding journey. Bid adieu to all
your favorite foods, say good-bye to tasty goodies, and
steel your resolve for the coming months of deprivation.
It's no wonder most of us can't stick it out for long.

If this sounds all too familiar, I've got *great* news...

It's OK to cheat on your diet.

No really! ;-)

In fact, you SHOULD cheat on your diet. Confused? OK, OK,
I'll explain...

First things first...

If you're doing everything correctly (eating 5-6 small,
balanced meals throughout the day, incorporating some
physical exercise of your choice, etc, etc.) the occasional
treat won't kill you -- and it won't derail your progress.

More importantly, the occasional "cheat meal" is a great
motivator. It provides strength in times of weakness. As
in...

"If I can hold off 'til Teusday, I can have that big piece of
strawberry cheesecake I've been so looking forward too!"

It's never a good idea to deprive yourself of your favorite
foods (even if they're not good for your waistline) for too
long. It's simply not realistic. And that, in a nutshell,
is why most diets are a complete waste of your time. Life
is short, and food is good...

So enjoy -- in moderation!

Because if a diet completely bans occasional goodies...

After a week or two of total deprivation most of us end up
saying...

"What the heck am I living for, anyway? I'm going to have
that piece of chocolate cake."

And since we've been programmed into associating cheating
with failure, that's usually the beginning of the end.

But the occasional cheat meal means there is *always* light
at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

Set personal goals, and reward yourself for attaining them.
As in...

"If I exercise for three 20 minute sessions and eat sensibly
this week, I'll reward myself with pizza and cheesecake on
Saturday night."

I've done this, and it works. And believe me, by Thursday
that pizza is shining out like a beacon of hope. But
because there is real reward in the near future, it's much
easier to resist the current temptation.

But you know what the funniest thing is?

After the Saturday night feast is over, I can't wait to get
back to my diet. Really -- it's like I almost feel guilty!

My point is here is very simple...

Successful dieting is practical, realistic dieting. And
let's face it, food is a pleasure. So don't deprive
yourself on a continous basis.

So...

What are you waiting for? Make it a double cheese! ;-)

CLA - Conjugated Linoleic Acid

I'm impressed with CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) for a
number of reasons. First, it's one of very few supplements
that is not marketed on hype, but by the weight of its
scientifically tested performance. That's a major, *major*
asset.

Secondly, it appears to work. No, you won't experience huge
earth-shattering gains by supplementing with CLA -- just
gradual, continous ones. In the 6 weeks I used it, I really
noticed a marked improvement -- I've even developed
striations in my triceps! This is one product I have
absolutely no reservations about recommending.

Whey Protein

A by-product of the cheese making process, whey protein is
one of the most popular protein food supplements on the
market today. It's easily dissolved, tastes great, and is
absorbed easily into the body. Need a lean protein source?
Whey protein might be just the thing!
