exercise tips to make your life easier? Is such a thing possible?
Exercising may be an essential part of any effective weight loss
plan, but it makes many of us groan in despair. Here's some tips
that'll help you out...

Exercise Tip #1:
Schedule.
Yes, that's right - schedule. If you don't actually slot some time
into your day specifically for exercise, it becomes less and less
likely to happen! Get out that day-timer, (or palm pilot :-) and
pen in some time for daily exercise!
Tip
#2:
Find
an exercise environment you're comfortable in! Most people don't
recognize the importance of this, but it is critical to your success!
Visit a couple of local gyms to get a "feel" for what
will work best for you!
Tip
#3:
Do
a little thinking! What are your fitness/weight loss goals? Where
do you want to be? How do you want to look? What is your personal
situation? It may sound elementary, but setting concrete goals is
something many folks neglect. And it's hard to make headway without
goals! :-)
Tip
#4:
If
you're lacking in motivation, find a workout partner. You probably
have a friend or neighbor who is in the same boat as you are...
Together, you can motivate each other!

Exercise Tip #5:
Maintain
a positive attitude. Rome wasn't built in a day. Just keep at it!
:-) You didn't gain all those pounds in a week or two, so don't
expect to lose them in a week or two.
Tip
#6:
If
you're unsure, ask a pro - they're there to help you, so don't be
shy about it!
Tip
#7:
Turn
off the T.V. That's right, shut it off. The television is without
a doubt the biggest time-waster available. If you can't bring yourself
to miss your favorite shows, your priorities need to be evaluated.
Tip
#8:
Begin
every exercise session with a brief warm-up and end with a cool
down period. This will help ensure an injury free workout, and reduce
muscle soreness!
Tip
#9:
Distract
yourself. If you decide to do some stationary cycling or aerobics
in your home, turn on your radio to give your brain something else
to focus on. It'll make the time pass by that much more quickly!

Exercise Tip #10:
Engage
in some positive visualization - picture the new you in your minds
eye - do this regularly. Write down your goals and put them where
you'll see them often - on the fridge door, your briefcase, or the
car's steering wheel.
